Veterans, are you getting all your benefits? Are you aware of all the benefits available to you?

Post 4090 is in the process of locating as many local veterans as possible. The goal is to increase awareness of opportunities and benefits available to them and to share the importance of joining the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

It is difficult to locate veterans within our community who are not Post 4090 members. It is equally difficult to identify those veterans who have returned home from deployment or completed their military obligation.

If you know a veteran who would like more information on what the VFW can do for them, please encourage them to call Bill Almy at 616-540-0917 or Glen Tinson at 517-930-6465.

If you would like to be a volunteer at our Post for meals, funerals, Post activities, or serve on a committee, please call 517-647-4980 and leave your name and phone number.

Note: The Veterans of Foreign Wars is a non-profit organization with a common goal of helping veterans gain access to benefits provided by the Veterans Administration (commonly known as the VA). The VA is a federal funded, government run organization that provides benefits to military veterans. Though the VFW and VA are separate organizations, they both work toward helping veterans live a healthy and productive life.

Thank you,
